A window, not a repeat
The artwork is placed rather than tiled, so each pair reads as a single picture instead of a pattern. That is what makes it survive a marketplace thumbnail, where an all-over repeat turns to mush.
What is in the scene
Two palms built in a two-colour split, a surfer walking his board along the shore, gulls above horizontal bands of sea and sky, and a small script mark on the hip. Contrast binding at the leg openings closes the frame.
One artwork, many colourways
Because the scene is engineered to the panel, a new colourway is a re-separation of the same artwork rather than a redraw. Your own waistband name and trim replace ours at no tooling cost.
