Five prints, one block and one fabric

X9867, X9894, X9895, X9902 and X9905 are cut from the same carded cotton on the same boxer-brief block and share the 2-4, 5-7, 8-10 and 10-12 age run, with X9867 starting at 5-7. Only the artwork changes, so one fit approval and one fabric approval carry the whole group and a buyer can take the assortment or a single print.

The five prints

X9867: bears driving number 35 racing cars between chequered flags, with a chequer band around the hem. X9894: a spotted giraffe shooting at goal under GOAL and SHOOT ON GOALS. X9895: a football pitch drawn across the front with boots and balls under LET'S PLAY. X9902: a bear in printed dungarees with a BABY chest patch and footballs either side. X9905: a dinosaur crossing the road with a rescue helicopter and taxi under DINO ATTACK CITY.

Carded cotton with a boxer-brief cut

95% cotton with 5% spandex: enough stretch to pull on without help and enough recovery to hold the leg after washing. The boxer-brief leg covers the thigh, the waistband is a soft printed tape and the seams are joined so the allowance lies flat instead of standing against the skin.

Childrenswear rules built into the pattern

No cords, no drawstrings and no applied small parts, so the group clears EN 14682 and CPSIA on construction rather than on a disclaimer. Metal detection runs on every order and the prints and dyes are run to the OEKO-TEX limits the mill already works to.

Colours, sizes and packing

Each print runs in five or six colours across sky blue, royal blue, navy, red, green and grey marl, with the waistband tape matched to the body and a contrast inner leg on several styles. Graded 2-4, 5-7, 8-10 and 10-12 years on the 20-22-24-26 waist run and packed as a mixed assortment at 300 dozen per carton. Prints, colours, the ratio inside the pack and your own waistband tape and hangtag are all set per order. AQL 2.5 inspection on every shipment.
