A print built from the brand's own alphabet
The repeat is not a motif, it is type: the UOMO logotype, single U, O, M and W characters, and the words BROOKLYN, ULTIMATE and NEW UOMO, set in blocks, outlines, halftone fills and knocked-out panels at mixed sizes and rotations. That makes this style different from a graphic print in one commercially useful way: the branding is not confined to the waistband, it runs over the whole garment, so the name is legible whether the boxer is folded on a shelf, worn under an open shirt or photographed flat.
Six colours in the print, controlled per ground
The artwork carries six ink colours over the ground - orange, green, blue, black, white and grey - and each ground is separated separately rather than reusing one set of films. That is what keeps the light grey readable without the pale inks disappearing, and keeps the black ground from swallowing the dark blocks. A print like this fails when it is treated as one separation dropped onto six backgrounds; the letters go muddy at the first dark shade and the range stops looking like a range.
A printed waistband carrying the full logotype
The waistband is a wide band printed with the UOMO logotype at full width, the red U counterform intact, with "Under wear" set under it on a rule. Colour is matched to each ground: red on the teal, teal on the navy, yellow on the black, orange on the charcoal, white on the royal blue and dark red on the light grey. The band is the widest we run on a men's boxer and it is the part a buyer photographs, so the logotype is drawn to hold its proportions at that width rather than being stretched to fill it.
Six stock colourways, graded L to 4XL
Teal, navy, black, charcoal, royal blue and light grey are held as stock grounds. The size run is L-XL-2XL-3XL-4XL, and patterns are graded for EU, US, UK, AU and JP charts from the same block, so one approved sample covers every market you sell into. Custom grounds are available from 300 kg of yarn.
Cotton jersey on our standard men's block
The body is 95% cotton with 5% spandex, cut on the same boxer-brief block as the rest of our men's range, so the fit is already proven and only the print changes. The leg finishes at mid-thigh, the pouch is cut in three panels to hold its shape, seat seams are flat-locked so nothing sits proud under trousers, and the leg hems are cover-stitched so they do not twist in the drum.
Type is the hard case for print fastness
Solid letterforms show wash damage earlier than a scattered motif, because the eye reads a broken edge on an M or a U as a fault rather than as texture. Wash and rub fastness are tested against the standard your market requires before bulk is approved, and each ground is tested separately: the figures for a light grey and a black are not interchangeable.
Which brands this style suits
A logotype print sells to a buyer who wants the garment to do the branding. Supermarket and department store buyers run it as the eye-catching piece in a three-pack beside two plain styles. Direct-to-consumer labels use it as the hero style, because a boxer covered in your own name is a marketing asset a plain black cannot be. If you are building a private label range, this is the block where your name replaces ours: the repeat is re-engraved to your logotype and your palette, and the waistband is redrawn to match, with no tooling cost.
What we handle before the container leaves
Every order passes AQL 2.5 inspection, an elasticity test on the waistband and mandatory metal detection before it is packed. Printing, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing and packing all run inside our own Zhejiang facility, so a question about print registration or letter weight does not become a three-way conversation with a print house and a subcontractor.
MOQ, samples and lead time
Minimum order is 500 pieces per style per colour. Samples run 7 to 10 days from an approved specification, and a printed style needs a strike-off approved before that clock starts. Bulk lead time is quoted against your size and colour split once the sample is signed off. Payment terms are T/T, L/C or PayPal. Send us your logotype, the grounds you want and the packing, and we will come back with a costed quotation and a sample date.
