A scattered leaf repeat that never lines up into a grid
The print is a leaf motif in two tones over the ground, set at mixed angles and mixed scales with the UOMO wordmark dropped between the leaves. The angles are the point: a repeat that lands at one rotation reads as wallpaper once it is stretched over a thigh, and the seam then shows exactly where the panel joins. Scattering the leaf and varying its size keeps the eye off the repeat line, which is why the print still reads as a print and not as a tile on the body.
A jacquard waistband carrying a running horse
The waistband is a wide knitted jacquard with UOMO in oversized letters and a running horse worked in beside it, one at each side of the name. The horse is knitted into the tape rather than printed on it, so it survives industrial washing without cracking, and it is what a buyer sees first when the garment is folded on a shelf or worn under an open shirt. Both the letters and the horse can be re-drawn to your own name and mark at no tooling cost.
Six grounds, each with its own waistband colour
Navy with orange, teal with grey, black with grey, charcoal with green, deep blue with red and light grey with black are among the six stock combinations. The waistband is not a carry-over part: its colour is chosen against the ground it sits on, so the band reads as designed rather than as whatever was in the box. The leaf itself is recoloured per ground as well, running orange on the navy, cyan on the teal, cream on the black and green on the charcoal.
Cotton jersey on our standard men's block
The body is 95% cotton with 5% spandex on the same boxer-brief block as the rest of our men's range, so the fit is proven and only the print and the band change. The leg finishes at mid-thigh, the pouch is cut in three panels to hold its shape, seat seams are flat-locked so nothing sits proud under trousers, and the leg hems are cover-stitched so they do not twist in the drum.
Packed 120 dozen to the carton
This style is packed 120 dozen per carton as standard, which is the figure your freight forwarder needs before anything else. Size run is L-XL-2XL-3XL-4XL, and patterns are graded for EU, US, UK, AU and JP charts from the same block, so one approved sample covers every market you sell into. Folded card, hanger, poly bag, printed box and two, three or five packs are all specified per order.
Print fastness tested per ground
An all-over print on cotton fails in two ways a buyer sees: colour bleeding into the ground after a few washes, and the print crocking onto light trousers. Wash and rub fastness are tested against the standard your market requires before bulk is approved. With six grounds the figures are not interchangeable, so a black and a light grey are tested separately rather than signed off from one strike-off.
Which brands this style suits
A leaf print in muted two-tone colours sits between a plain basic and a loud novelty, and that is a useful place to be. It carries a higher margin than a black three-pack because it is chosen rather than replaced, but it is quiet enough that a supermarket buyer can run it all year instead of only in a season. Department store and pharmacy chains take it as a mid-price carry-over; direct-to-consumer labels use it as the print that photographs well beside their plain styles. With six grounds, one style can fill a multipack programme without repeating a colour.
What we handle before the container leaves
Every order passes AQL 2.5 inspection, an elasticity test on the waistband and mandatory metal detection before it is packed. Printing, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing and packing all run inside our own Zhejiang facility, so a question about print registration or band colour does not become a three-way conversation with a print house and a subcontractor. If you are moving an existing style across from another supplier we will pattern it from your physical sample rather than a tech pack alone.
MOQ, samples and lead time
Minimum order is 500 pieces per style per colour. Samples run 7 to 10 days from an approved specification, and a printed style needs a strike-off approved before that clock starts. Bulk lead time is quoted against your size and colour split once the sample is signed off. Payment terms are T/T, L/C or PayPal. Tell us which of the six grounds you want and in what split, and we will come back with a costed quotation and a sample date.
