01 — Minimum order quantity
500 pieces per style for adult underwear and 800 pieces per style for children’s. Within that you can split colourways at 200 pieces each (300 for children’s), and sizes are free to mix.
Sometimes. If the style uses a fabric we already hold in stock, we can run 200–300 pieces as a market test, with a surcharge of roughly 15–25% per piece to cover set-up.
Yes. Once a block and fabric are established, repeats go down to 300 pieces per colourway because the pattern, marker and standards file already exist.
02 — South America & the Chile free zone
Yes. A share of our annual capacity is reserved for South American customers. Our own production and our subcontracted processing are consolidated in Pujiang and shipped as full containers direct to Chile — no LCL groupage and no waiting for a co-loader.
No. TENSUNG has its own registered company inside a Chilean free-trade zone. It receives the containers, holds stock, invoices locally and handles the documentation for onward movement.
Six markets in total: Chile itself, plus Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. Goods move onward from the free zone under local documentation rather than starting a new ocean journey.
Where we hold inventory in the zone, yes. Distributors order against local stock in the quantities their market absorbs and replenish in days rather than months. Ask our South America desk what is currently on hand.
In many cases, yes. If the goods are compatible with our loading and documentation, we can bring them in on the same containers. Send us the product types and volumes and we will confirm.
Factory orders are invoiced in USD as standard. Sales made from the Chilean company follow local practice; our South America desk will confirm the arrangement for your market.
03 — Samples & development
USD 30–80 per style depending on construction and whether new fabric has to be knitted. Seamless development sits at the higher end. The fee is credited back against your first bulk order.
7–10 working days for a first proto using stock fabric. Add 10–14 days if we need to knit and dye a new fabric, and 3–5 days for each revision round.
Three rounds are included on a confirmed programme. Most styles are approved on the second, because we send measurement sheets and photos with each proto rather than waiting for you to discover a problem.
That is what our ODM track is for. Bring a reference garment, a target price and the market you sell into, and our development team will propose blocks, fabrics and a full tech pack, which becomes yours to keep.
04 — Production & lead time
30–45 days from approved pre-production sample and received deposit, for orders up to 50,000 pieces. Larger programmes are scheduled in releases so your first shipment is not held for the whole quantity.
Weekly, with photos, without being asked. You also receive inline inspection notes at cutting and sewing, and the full AQL 2.5 final report before the goods leave.
We re-work or re-make at our cost, and we tell you before you find out yourself. Our terms cover replacement or credit for confirmed defects outside AQL 2.5.
Yes, at any stage. SGS, Intertek, BV, QIMA and buyer-appointed inspectors are all welcome on site; we need two days’ notice to schedule access.
05 — Fabrics & construction
Combed and supima cotton jersey and rib, micro modal, bamboo viscose blends, recycled and virgin nylon for seamless, powernet, and GOTS organic cotton. GSMs from 150 to 220 are standard.
Yes. Seamless circular knitting is in house, which is unusual for a factory of our size and one reason customers move their seamless programmes to us. Both bonded and laser-cut finishing are available.
Yes. We will buy from your nominated mill or knit from your nominated yarn. Expect about 10 extra days for inbound goods testing before cutting starts.
Custom dyeing starts at 300 kg per colour, roughly 2,500–3,000 pieces. Below that we work from our 12 stock shades or a close Pantone match from an existing lot.
06 — Packaging & export
Yes — polybags, header cards, hangtags, printed boxes, hangers, barcodes and size stickers, all applied here. Send your artwork and retailer packaging spec and we will proof it before printing.
Compostable polybags, FSC-certified hangtags, recycled cartons and soy-based inks are all available, usually at a small premium over conventional packaging.
FOB Ningbo or Shanghai as standard, with EXW, CIF, DDP and air freight available. We also ship to Amazon FBA and other 3PL warehouses with the required labelling.
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin (Form A, Form E and CO as applicable) and any GRS, GOTS or OEKO-TEX® documentation your programme needs.
07 — Payment & terms
30% deposit with the order and 70% against the bill of lading copy, by T/T. We also accept irrevocable L/C at sight for orders above USD 50,000, and card or PayPal for sample charges.
USD is standard. EUR and CNY are possible by agreement; the rate is fixed at the date of the proforma invoice.
Yes, before development starts if you prefer. Your designs, patterns and tech packs stay yours, and we do not sell a developed block to another customer.

Ask the sales team directly. If it is technical, it goes straight to the development engineers rather than sitting in an inbox.
