An all-over football print, engraved once and recoloured six ways
The print is a football repeat: struck players in red kit, black and white balls and the UOMO wordmark, scattered across the ground at mixed angles so the repeat does not read as a grid on the body. It is separated into three spot colours over the ground, which is what keeps the edges of the players crisp at this scale instead of muddying into the blue. The same engraving carries all six colourways, so adding a shade to your range is a colour change on an existing screen set rather than new artwork.
Camouflage jacquard waistband with oversized lettering
This style does not use our plain men's waistband. It carries a black and grey camouflage jacquard with UOMO knitted across it at a size that runs off both edges of the band, so the name is legible from the front, the side and the back without a separate label. The letter colour changes with the colourway: red on the petrol blue and red grounds, blue on the dark navy, green on the charcoal, yellow on the royal blue and orange on the light grey. The lettering is knitted into the tape rather than printed on it, so industrial washing does not crack or lift it.
Six grounds, each with its own print colourway
Petrol blue, red, dark navy, charcoal, royal blue and light grey are held as stock grounds, and the print is recoloured on each rather than simply dropped onto a new background. The dark navy runs the players in cyan with cream balls; the charcoal runs them in green; the light grey runs them in blue. That matters on a shelf, because six versions of one print in one colour look like a printing error, and six recoloured versions look like a range.
Cotton jersey on our standard men's block
The body is 95% cotton with 5% spandex, cut on the same boxer-brief block as the rest of our men's range, so the fit is already proven and only the print is new. The leg finishes at mid-thigh, the pouch is cut in three panels to hold its shape, seat seams are flat-locked and the leg hems are cover-stitched so they do not twist in the drum.
Print that survives the wash, not just the photograph
An all-over print on cotton fails in two ways a buyer sees: the colour bleeds into the ground after a few washes, and the print crocks onto a light-coloured trouser. Wash and rub fastness are tested against the standard your market requires before bulk is approved, and the fastness figures move with the depth of the ground, which is why the dark navy and the light grey are tested separately rather than signed off from one strike-off.
Which brands a printed style suits
A printed boxer brief does a different job from a plain one. It carries a higher margin than a black basic because it is bought as a want rather than a need, and it moves in gift and multipack formats where a plain style does not. Supermarket and department store buyers run it as a seasonal push around a tournament or a season opening. Pharmacy and convenience chains take it as a single-piece impulse line at the till. Direct-to-consumer labels use a print like this as the style that gets photographed and shared, with the plain black carrying the volume behind it.
Putting your own artwork on this block
If you have your own print, we work from your repeat file and match it to this block: we return a strike-off on the actual fabric before any bulk yarn is dyed, because a print approved on paper and a print approved on cotton jersey are not the same colour. If you do not have artwork, our design team draws to a brief, and a football, camouflage, animal or geometric repeat can be engraved to your palette. Repeat size, colour count and placement across the panels are all specified per order, and the waistband jacquard can be re-drawn with your name in place of ours at no tooling cost.
What we handle before the container leaves
Every order passes AQL 2.5 inspection, an elasticity test on the waistband and mandatory metal detection before it is packed. Printing, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing and packing all run inside our own Zhejiang facility, so a print registration question does not become a three-way conversation with a print house and a subcontractor. Patterns are graded for EU, US, UK, AU and JP charts from the same block, so one approved sample covers every market you sell into.
MOQ, samples and lead time
Minimum order is 500 pieces per style per colour. Samples run 7 to 10 days from an approved specification, and a printed style needs a strike-off approved before that clock starts. Bulk lead time is quoted against your size and colour split once the sample is signed off. Payment terms are T/T, L/C or PayPal. Send us the grounds, the size run and the packing you need, and we will come back with a costed quotation and a sample date.
