Four styles on one rib base

X4479, X3858, X3772 and X3774 are all knitted in morley rib cotton on the same high-rise brief block and share the 36-38-40 run in 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. The fine vertical rib stretches across the hip and recovers after washing, which is what lets one pattern cover three sizes without the waist digging in.

The four styles

X4479: floral lace panels set into both hips, with a plain rib front and back. X3858: a pointelle mesh front with a lace stripe down the centre, for the most breathable option in the group. X3772: a small floral print across the upper front finished with a scalloped lace trim. X3774: a wide floral lace panel across the front waist over a plain rib body.

Cut for a fuller figure

This is a high-rise brief: the waist sits at or above the navel and the back gives full coverage, so nothing rolls down under a skirt or jeans. The waist and leg openings are finished with a turned rib edge rather than exposed elastic, which is what keeps the top sizes comfortable.

Lace where it is seen, cotton where it counts

The body and the lined gusset are cotton rib; lace and mesh are used only as panels at the hip or front. That keeps the brief breathable against the skin while it still reads as a lingerie piece on the hanger.
